Prior to joining Bopinc, Ijeoma was the Systems Lead at One Acre Fund, where she was responsible for managing all farmer-facing operations from input procurement to last-mile distribution to farmers. She also designed a new market access model to give farmers better sales value for their harvests and a rural retail business unit to support the sale of high-quality inputs at the grassroots level.
In addition, Ijeoma led and supported the implementation of a mobile money payment solution for farmers in the Minna region, which was created to mirror the popular Mpesa payments in East Africa.
Although she started her career in the banking sector as a branch manager, she has since worked with Oxford policy management in a DFID funded project in education, Ecorys UK on the institutional reform of the ECOWAS Commission. Her passion for Diversity and inclusion led to her being nominated as a member of the global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council at One Acre Fund.
In her downtime, she loves to read or make incense. She is also a budding gardener
