Katia Yetongnon is a graduate of the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences of the University of Abomey Calavi-Benin. There, she obtained her bachelor degree in Nutrition and Food Security. Katia has a strong interest in food and nutrition issues. Her professional experiences have focused on feeding and nutrition of vulnerable groups, in particular for young children and their mothers.
Being part of the Bopinc represents an opportunity that will allow her to put her skills forward to achieve the objectives targeted by the Benibiz project. Also, she will seize the opportunity to develop new efficient approaches to tackle undernutrition which is prevalent in rural communities.
Dynamic, positive and determined, Katia is convinced that women are the cornerstone of any public policy in the nutrition sector and should be continuously supported to be resilient and independent.
