Marie-José is an experienced Project Controller, responsible for all topics related to finance such as project budgeting, monitoring and reporting.
Coming from an Agro-Economic background at the University of Wageningen, she quickly developed herself in finance and development work. She worked for both private sector companies in banking, accountancy & consultancy as well as NGO’s such as Oxfam, The Red Cross, PharmAccess and most recently War Child.
Marie-José has travelled extensively and lived and worked abroad for close to 10 years in Indonesia, Kenya and Malawi among others, getting a deeper understanding of the lives and challenges of the local population. Apart from working for Bopinc, she finds additional time to volunteer for private foundations active in Nepal, Kenya and Uganda to manage or oversee their projects.
She is passionate about contributing to successful inclusive programs from a financial perspective, supporting program managers and working closely together with overseas partners.
