Prior to joining Bopinc, Monica Githige was working with the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) where she was responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of Technical Assistance (TA) targeting food Micro; Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
Before this, she worked with TechnoServe Kenya, where she took lead of two programs (Dairy and Food Fortification) supporting private sector partners such as food processors, farmer groups, agribusinesses. Her expertise is in market systems development, enterprise development including capacity and technical needs diagnosis, design, delivery, and monitoring of technical assistance packages. She is also adept at project and partnership management, as well as multitasking and delivering high-quality and innovative project outcomes.
Monica is a fellow of the African Food Fellowship, an inaugural leadership program aimed at strengthening African leadership.
