Alvin is a humanitarian and development professional with experience supporting inclusive development, peacebuilding, policy research, resilience and programme delivery in diverse contexts. His work has focused on improving the resilience and livelihoods of crisis-affected and low-income communities through collaboration with governments, regional and international institutions and civil society. He supported regional policy and programme work within the African Union aimed at improving access to mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) for communities affected by conflict, including victims of terrorism.
He has contributed to community initiatives spanning environmental protection and sanitation sensitization for high school students in Abuja, resource mobilization for a local NGO in Addis Ababa providing educational packs to low-income students, and digital skills training for African diaspora students in India, aimed at empowering women through technology skills for improved productivity. He is a collaborative team player with a strong interest in learning, partnerships and practical impact. Alvin has a degree in Statistics and Economics and a Master’s degree in Managing Peace and Security in Africa.
