Jan-Gijsbert Bakker

Jan Gijsbert has worked in KPMG for many years, both in audit and in consultancy. He was one of the founders of the transaction services group within KPMG, which assists corporates and institutions in analyzing risks in large national and international M&A transactions, and he has been a board member of KPMG in the Netherlands. Since Jan Gijsbert has left KPMG, he advises shareholders in conflict situations and in M&A transactions.

During his international business trips Jan Gijsbert wondered how people less fortunate could be helped to move forward. The base of the pyramid theory gives a conceptual framework to unlock the potential of these poorer people.
