Roald Klumpenaar is a project manager specialized in Inclusive Innovation as well as marketing & distribution programs. Currently he is working on projects such as climate smart innovations for the 2SCALE program and the design of an innovative training program for rural sales agents.
Prior to joining Bopinc from 2016 to 2019, Roald founded and managed the Inclusive Fieldlab in Amersfoort, which tests and develops supportive technologies for disabled people at the workplace. Examples of products he developed includes; Augmented Reality, the Exoskeleton and Stress Biofeedback, for which he raised long term funds for research and development.
Roald holds an MSc. in Sustainability & Social Innovation from the HEC Paris School of Management as well as a BA. in Social Sciences from University College Utrecht. Various internships and exchanges in India, China and Peru have sparked his interest for supporting vulnerable groups in developing countries.
In his work Roald likes to contribute to the places and people with the most urgent needs. Using inclusive innovation and a business mindset, Roald strongly supports the mission of Bopinc of improving livelihoods among low-income groups.
