Sumaiya Bushra

Sumaiya Bushra is an Inclusive Business and Gender Advisor at Bopinc, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. With 6+ years at Bopinc and over 10 years of experience in project management and development practice, she specializes in embedding a gender lens into inclusive, market-based solutions.

Her work spans women micro-entrepreneurship, last-mile distribution, nutrition, care, menstrual hygiene, circularity, healthcare, and inclusive financing in low-income communities.

She also provides technical assistance to SMEs through different programs and accelerators, supporting inclusive design, go-to-market strategies, fundraising, and business viability.

Previously, she worked at mPower Social Enterprises, collaborating with different NGOs, including CARE, UNICEF, BRAC, Save the Children, Plan International, SPIDER, and Oxfam.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology.
