Thelma Hadjigeorghi

Thelma is an experienced Finance Director and board member who has worked in the private sector (investment banking, financial services and retail) and Not For Profit sector (International NGOs).

She studied Finance at the University of South Africa and did her professional training with Grant Thornton International. Thelma has lived and worked in South Africa, London and The Netherlands. Her background includes Risk & Compliance, Finance Management, Governance and Operational Excellence.

Born and raised in South Africa, she is very passionate about Africa. She is a trained volunteer counsellor passionate about helping people in less fortunate situations. She has also worked with incarcerated people and their families to help them integrate back into society. She did voluntary work in Macedonia, where she helped raise funds, clothing, shoes and toys for the community .
